At K12 Academy we are not only a tuition centre, we are an academy. The reason we make this distinction is that our vision here at K12 is not to produce students who just scrape by, but to give students the opportunity to excel all expectations and become confident in their own abilities. Therefore, our focus is on making sure that students enjoy learning and receive holistic development. This world has always been, and will always be, competitive. It is therefore of the utmost importance not to settle for mediocre and to instead treat mediocre as a stepping stone to greater success. Your child’s education is one of the most important parts of their life. During school vacations, we offer workshops in Creative Writing, Web Designing, Robotics, Resume Writing, Basic Electronics, Italian and Science Experiments. Throughout the year we also offer after school clubs in chess, coding, robotics, writing, reading, maths, debating, journalism, arts, homework and Minecraft. Further, we encourage our students to participate in state and national run competitions such as the Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) and Olympiads. All of these tutoring services, workshops, clubs and competitions are here to be utilised by your child, as they grow into successful, capable, happy adults.

K12 Academy comprises of a team of highly experienced and qualified tutors who prepare and deliver tailored lessons for your children's needs. Here at K12 Academy we ensure that all of our tutors are of the utmost quality through our screening and induction procedures. We conduct behavioural interviews for applicants who have achieved acceptable qualifications. The behavioural method of interviewing allows us to form a solid grasp of the tutor's personality and methods, as well as their ability to think on their feet. The induction process is essential for all new tutors, to make sure that they are oriented to the way that our business works and to ensure quality for your children. All of our tutors have also been required to obtain a Working With Children's Check (WWCC). This means that they have been checked by the government for any past misconduct and been found clean. Your child has ready access to our friendly tutors, who are more than happy to liaise with them face-to-face or via the K12 Facebook Group page

Learning Process Adventure and Enjoyment

It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge. Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new  ---Albert Einstein

Working With Children Check

What is it?

Anyone working with children in Australia must pass the Working With Children Check (WWCC). The WWCC involves an entire review of a person's/organisation's history; checking for national criminal record history and past workplace conduct. After passing the WWCC, applicants are continuously monitored for further circumstances that may revoke the check and prevent the applicant from further working with children.

Safety Processes

Conducted by K12 Academy

Responsible organisations, such as K12 Academy, continuously implement practices for maintaining a safe organisation environment. We approach to child safety through:

  • Child safety policies
  • Legal WWCC child safety obligations
  • Staff supervision
  • Effective staff recruitment and training procedures
  • Observation of conduct to identify potential risks
  • Informing children and parents on matters regarding child safety
  • Organizing and attending Child Safety training
